Quick Update

Tara called this morning with news of an 'OK' night. The chemotherapy I mentioned before has now been administered. She said Henry was pretty restless in the early part of the night. He was fighting taking his oral pain medication which he usually takes more easily. He vomited once overnight after taking some of the pain medicine and afterwards, despite not really getting any in his system, said he felt better. Tara attributed this to relief of some nausea.

He was up very early, 5am today. He's had surprising stamina through all this. These drugs are supposed to make him really tired though so maybe he'll get a nap in today. We're hoping for an uneventful day.

Not just Henry, but the entire Scheck family has surprising AND amazing stamina - and really is just plain amazing. I am in awe of you all. And wait until you see the e-mails I have been receiving. You have a huge fan club of supporters - a veritable army of friends waiting to help. You are not alone as you face Henry's Challenge.
Have a good day and bless you all on your journey back to well-being. Waiting for the Schecks in Hagsville - Maury

Ahh Henry, You have so much love and support surrounding you and your family. I'm sorry that you have to take yucky medicine. You will be home soon and be able to camp out with Daddy and Mommy. Remember when you went Trick-R-Treating and you were a ghost, Krista remembered she had a story book about a ghost named Henry. Guess what. She found it and I will mail it to your house so Daddy can read it to you. She also took my "Love is Fragile, Love is Not" bracelet.
Keep fighting little man. I'm cheering and praying for you.
